The Excellence and Impact Foundation exists; to uplift and empower immigrant Africans with access, resources and opportunities for success they traditionally NEVER have inside their silo and bubbles, to bridge the cultural gaps that exist between the traditionally clustered immigrant African community and broader society, deepen ties for effective engagement. Assist them achieve their American dream and create shared prosperity for society at large. We also celebrate and honor the extraordinary accomplishments of immigrant Africans making a difference in our community.

Our Founder, Alpha Muluh has a natural gift of connecting with people and a passion of service to community. Through the expression of his natural gift and passion, Alpha has built an impressive network across all backgrounds, socio-economic classes, races, etc, serves on community boards, and has memberships in impactful organization. Expanding his social and professional networks through diverse relationships continues to be life transforming, empowering, fulfilling and full of opportunities.

But there was a MAJOR problem! Alpha was mostly the only immigrant African in these spaces of opportunity and resources.  He realized the need for a platform to share the rewarding richness of these diverse relationships, expansion of networks, showcase the diversity of talent and build resilient communities that benefit everyone.

To bridge cultural divides and deepen community ties, build stronger and compassionate connections between the immigrant African community and the broader American society. This creates an enriching and more inclusive society for all. Why is this important? Because diverse communities are more resilient, diversity is empowering and beneficial for all, diversity creates more opportunity and equality, and diverse communities are more innovative.

We highlight our shared values of hard work, sacrifice, dedication to our communities, respect, unity, collaboration, personal responsibility, equality, and ambition. We also celebrate our diverse backgrounds as a strength that fosters unity and not as a divide.  

Our programs and events build deeper connections for better collaboration, bridge cultural gaps and deepen mutual understanding for effective community engagement, provide access and resources to the chronically underrepresented immigrant African community across social and economic lines.
