Edmund Galabe was inspired to create African Rich when he couldn’t find quality, modern clothing that represented African culture and heritage pride. He faced real challenges: raising funds, learning the fashion industry, and building brand awareness.

He overcame them by drawing on personal savings, support from family, and business loans; conducting extensive research; hiring professional designers; building a presence on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube; and attending trade shows as a vendor to connect directly with customers.

African Rich is a vibrant, contemporary African clothing brand based in the USA that celebrates the richness of African heritage through trendy, stylish designs. Edmund plans to grow through paid social advertising, collaborations with major department stores, and targeted events, with consistent branding across every channel.
