Humanitarian Award
Franca Adetunji
Founder of the End African Children Hunger Foundation (EACHF).
Founded in 2017 by Franca Adetunji, the End African Children Hunger Foundation is a lifeline for the most vulnerable — born from a deep, personal commitment to alleviating hunger and malnutrition.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Franca witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of hunger on children. That experience became a promise: to do whatever it takes to fight hunger. EACHF is incorporated in both the United States and Nigeria and reaches into the remotest communities of Africa, with a steadfast commitment to integrity and accountability.
Over seven years, EACHF has run annual food-donation drives, established healthcare centres, provided essential medical supplies, and organised food packing and distribution — alongside welfare programs for widows and the elderly, partial scholarships, and school renovations. From 2018 to today, its food programs have reached over 5,000 children from 1,500 families — providing not just food, but hope.
