Ben is a seasoned entrepreneur and mentor with decades of vast experience. Born in England to a diverse family—his father was English, and his mother was American—Ben’s early life was marked by a significant move across the Atlantic to Northern California. This formative journey instilled in him an enduring spirit of adaptation and resilience.

Growing up, Ben’s drive and determination were evident. After excelling in high school, he pursued his passion for architecture in Arizona, completing his trade school education in 1992. Despite a brief return to California, the allure of Arizona—coupled with an emerging interest in the telecommunications broadband industry—called him back. It was here, starting as a CAD designer in 1993, that Ben’s career truly began to take shape.

In 1995, Ben discovered his true calling in design-build, and by 1996, he was already making his mark as a contractor specializing in large project execution and self-performing engineering work. These early experiences were crucial, laying the groundwork for a career defined by innovation, leadership, and the successful management of complex projects.

The year 2000 marked a pivotal moment in Ben’s journey with the founding of BPG Designs. Under his leadership, the company experienced exponential growth—from a modest team of less than 10 to over 230 dedicated professionals—and saw its revenue soar to over $30 million annually. During this time, BPG Designs also spent several years as a client of Next Level Growth. Specializing in a wide range of services from design and engineering to excavation and electrical services, BPG Designs became a testament to Ben’s vision and entrepreneurial acumen.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Ben is deeply committed to community engagement and industry collaboration. His involvement in round tables, mastermind groups, and significant roles within the Arizona Utility Contractors Association (AZUCA), including a term as president, underscores his belief in the power of connection and collective wisdom.

In late 2023, Ben embarked on a new chapter, stepping away from day-to-day operations at BPG to explore new ventures. His journey led him back to Next Level Growth, where he now leverages his vast experience to guide business owners and leaders toward building elite organizations. Ben’s passion for mentoring—rooted in a career that has spanned various roles and challenges—is a testament to his dedication to helping others achieve their full potential.
