Barney Mbigha

Barney Mbigha is a Senior Vice President at Capital Group with 15 years of finance industry experience, responsible for business development with public pensions across the East Coast. Prior to joining Capital, Barney worked as an investment strategist at Vanguard. Before that, he was a regional private banker at Wells Fargo.
Barney is also the Founder and CEO of Peace & Comfort Heart/Medical Foundation, a philanthropic organization established to honor his parents. Through this foundation, he has built a modern hospital in Douala, Cameroon, providing a wide range of healthcare services to the local community and beyond. He also sits on the board of the Master of Science in Finance Program at Florida International University.
Barney holds an MBA in Finance from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from University of Buea, Cameroon where he graduated as the best student in his class. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
